Earlier this month, Gabe turned the big ONE! This picture was taken at his party in east TN, where he really got into his "smash cake." There was frosting just about everywhere! At this point, he hadn't yet smeared it across his eyes and nose (and got it up his nose, too). That mess took about a dozen wipes to clean up. LOL!
It's funny how fast kids grow up. Gabe's almost walking, he can wave and say "bye bye," and he likes to dance any time he hears music. What happened to my little 5-pounder that we brought home from the hospital a year ago??
Anyway, I just wanted to share this lovely picture. Zeke wasn't quite as adventurous on his 1st birthday and would barely touch his cake. Gabe, however, didn't need any encouragement, as you can see.
And of course, Mommy had a lot of cleaning up to do!
